The WD-73835 is a 73" HDTV from Mitsubishi's high-end Diamond 835 Series for 2009, an upgrade to the 735 Series.  The TV utilizes DLP projection, offers 6-color processing, has a native resolution of 1080p for full HD graphics.

  It features a variety of imaging technology such as Mitsubishi's Perfect Color, SharpEdge, and DeepField Imager for accurate, vibrant, and detailed color reproduction.  The TV also includes Dark Detailer and Perfect Tint technology, which the 735 Series lacks, for improved contrast detailing.  The WD-73835 offers Smooth 120Hz panel technology for crisp, blur-free images and is 3D ready to support in-home 3D viewing.  It is designed with an ultra thin, ultralight frame and has a high gloss bezel with a blue lighting accent.  The TV also features built-in 10-watt speakers for accompanying stereo sound and offers a variety of inputs including 4 HDMI inputs, a front panel USB port, and an S-Video input.   The WD-73835 is energy efficient, meeting Energy Star 3.0 qualifications, and has a suggested retail price of $3500.
