ViewSonic N2201w

The ViewSonic N2201w is a 22" widescreen LCD HDTV/DVD combo with a $429 price tag, this ViewSonic midrang television seems more than reasonably priced considering all the features and specs it packs: a large 1,680 x 1,050 resolution that comfortably surpasses that of the ViewSonic N1930w, a 5ms response time (ok with today's standards, which measures how well fast moving objects are rendered and how little blur happens) and a built-in NTSC / ATSC / QAM TV tuner, not to mention the built in DVD player and an HDMI port and a PC input.

One lacking aspect of this piece is its disappointing 1,000:1 contrast ratio (Contrast ratio measures the ratio of the luminance of the brightest color (white) of the screen to that of the darkest color on the screen (black) that the system is capable of producing).
